The French clothing company, Eleven Paris, will most probably hit the financial bottom if it loses the following lawsuit. The brand was slapped with a complaint filed by all – Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Kanye West, and Pharrell Williams for using their likeness and trademarks without permission.
According to the legal docs, the superstars accuse the company of over 50 violations of “publicity violations, willful trademark infringement, unfair competition and dilution, among a score of other blatant statutory and common law violations.”
Beyoncé had previously sent a handful of cease and desist letters asking them to discontinue selling the unauthorized products, but obviously that never happened.
The artists are demanding that Eleven Paris quit production on the apparel, and repay the profits and legal fees. The brand has since taken the products off its website.
